Flight Building is designed as a response to the modern office building. It provides innovative and flexible solutions for the office user looking to scale out of co-working, but not ready to invest in full-scale headquarters. Working in tandem with the architects from early stages, the brand is designed to be modern and simplistic, leaving ample room for each company to express their own identity.

The custom type designed for the logomark is a modern, italicized stencil face. It is a subtle nod to the former industrial site of the building and to the active train tracks directly behind it. The type was then fully built-out to serve within signage and wayfinding that is direct without being overbearing.
The building's signage system is primarily contour-cut vinyl in either brand orange or semi-opaque privacy film. Floor striping was designed to highlight office entries down long, cohesive hallways. Directories were printed as vinyl on clear acrylic panels, allowing them to fade into the building's materiality while retaining clarity and interchangability.
The brand's color palette was designed as a small set of bright and warm tones that work to excite areas of interest and blend with natural wood pervasive throughout the space.
My team worked closely with OpenDesk to create custom furniture sets for furnished offices, ensuring consistency of materiality and brand color within the offices themselves.
